As a solo indie developer, I’ve worked on games and mods since I was eight years old. I started out my game prototyping and designing with tools like Klik & Play for Schools, Game Maker, The Games Factory, QBasic, Multimedia Fusion and map editors like Half-Life (1998)’s Hammer World Editor and Warcraft III (2002)’s World Editor.
Over the years, I’ve then graduated to C#, C++, Lua and game engines like Unity, Unreal Engine and Godot. I oftentimes make the very first game prototype of an idea by myself, just to nail the game feel and target from the get go.
