
👋 Moikka! My name is
With over 10 years of experience in the gaming industry, I’ve worked on everything from commercial productions to experimental indie ventures. Most recently, I was the CEO, Founder, and Creative Director of Makea Games, a studio focused on building a multiplayer universe powered by user-generated content (UGC).
At Makea Games, I oversaw the vision, strategy, and development of our games, alongside fundraising, marketing, branding, and community management. I was also the Creative Director and designer of Supermoves, our multiplayer UGC parkour showdown that won 2nd Place for Finnish Game of the Year 2024 at the Finnish Game Awards 2025.
Today, I’m building new projects through two different creative paths. Catland has returned as my personal indie label focused on strange, creative, and slightly unhinged experimental games made together with friends and collaborators. At the same time, I’m founding DREADMILL, a new game studio currently developing TIDEBREAK, an underwater co-op shooter thriller focused on systemic gameplay and chaotic multiplayer moments.
My mission has always been to make games and ventures that embrace insanity and unleash creativity. When I’m not making games, I’m helping found and build communities and initiatives like Platform6 Startup House, Tampere Game Hub, and Finnish Game Incubator – all the while singing an obnoxious amount of karaoke.
